About EmberRise Pro

A team focused on gas appliances and home comfort.

What we do

EmberRise Pro services, repairs and installs the gas-powered equipment that keeps a home comfortable: fireplaces, chimneys, gas lines, furnaces and air conditioners, pool heaters and water heaters.

How we work

  • We diagnose before we quote, and quote before we work.
  • We explain findings in plain language and show you the parts involved.
  • We protect your floors and clean up before leaving.
  • We never recommend a replacement when a fair repair will do.

Where we work

We are based at 1900 Dundas Street East in Mississauga and serve homeowners across our service areas.

Our approach

A home heating and gas service company built on clear answers

EmberRise Pro exists to make gas appliance and home heating service simple. We look after fireplaces, chimneys, gas lines, furnaces, air conditioners, pool heaters and water heaters for homeowners, with one team, one point of contact and a clear written price before any work begins.

Why we started EmberRise Pro

Homeowners told us the same story again and again. They called one company for the furnace, another for the fireplace, a third for the water heater and someone else entirely when they wanted a gas line for the barbecue. Each visit came with a different approach to pricing, different communication and different levels of care inside the home. When something went wrong, nobody looked at how the appliances worked together.

We set out to fix that. EmberRise Pro brings these services under one roof so a single team understands your home's gas and heating system as a whole. When you call us about a gas fireplace that will not light, we can also spot a vent termination blocked by leaves or a water heater showing early signs of wear, and tell you about it without pressure.

What we do

Our services cover six areas. Fireplace and gas fireplace service includes gas fireplace repair, cleaning, inspections, pilot light and ignition repair, blower and remote repair, and installation support. Chimney service includes chimney sweeps, creosote removal, blockage clearing and inspections. Gas line and gas leak service covers gas line installation for barbecues, ranges, dryers, fireplaces and pool heaters, gas line repair, relocation and capping, and leak detection.

HVAC service covers furnace repair and maintenance, air conditioner repair and tune-ups, heat pumps and ductless mini split systems. Pool heater service covers gas and electric pool heater repair, opening, winterizing and installation. Water heater service covers tank and tankless water heater repair, descaling, maintenance and replacement.

Across these groups we offer 176 specific services, each with its own page explaining what is included, what is not, and an estimated price range.

How we work

Diagnose first, then quote

We find the actual cause before recommending anything. A fireplace that will not light could need a new battery, a cleaned thermocouple or a new valve, and the price difference is large. Guessing helps nobody.

Written price before work

You approve a clear written price before any parts or labour. If we discover something unexpected during the job, we stop and talk to you before going further.

Plain language

We explain what we found, show you the parts involved and tell you your options in everyday words. You should never feel rushed into a decision you do not understand.

Repair when repair makes sense

We recommend replacement only when it is the better value or the safer choice, for example when equipment is near the end of its life, parts are unavailable or a safety component has failed.

Respect for your home

Technicians protect floors and furniture, keep the work area tidy and clean up before leaving.

Safety is part of every visit

Gas appliances are safe when they are installed and maintained correctly. Every service visit includes checks of gas connections and venting related to the appliance we are working on. We will never ask you to perform risky gas or combustion work yourself, and our website does not offer do-it-yourself gas repair instructions for that reason.

If you smell gas, leave the home immediately without using switches or appliances, then call your gas utility emergency line and 911 once you are outside. We also encourage every household to keep working carbon monoxide alarms on every level of the home.

Honest pricing

Our website shows estimated price ranges for common jobs, based on typical regional market rates. These figures are a starting point to help you plan, not a promise. Your final price is confirmed after assessment, in writing, before any work begins. When a job is too variable to estimate online, we say Request a Quote rather than showing a misleading number.

Our online price estimator gives you a range before asking for any contact details. It is non-binding and simply helps you know the ballpark before you call.

An independent service company

We service 28 brands of fireplaces, stoves, pool heaters and water heaters, including Napoleon, Regency, Valor, Heat & Glo, Majestic, Hayward, Pentair, Raypak and Rheem. We are independent and not an authorized dealer for any manufacturer. That keeps our advice focused on what is right for your home rather than on selling a particular product line.

Where we work

Our office is at 1900 Dundas Street East, Unit 202, in Mississauga. From there we serve homeowners across a wide area. Each service area has its own page describing the homes and services common there.

What you can expect when you contact us

  • A reply confirming availability, not an automated promise.
  • A technician who arrives ready to diagnose, with common parts on hand where possible.
  • A clear explanation and a written price before work starts.
  • Tested, working equipment and a tidy work area when we leave.
  • Straight answers to any follow-up questions.

Our commitment to transparency

We would rather tell you less than tell you something that is not true. You will not find invented awards, ratings or claims on our site. The reviews currently shown are clearly labelled samples for design preview until real customer reviews are collected with permission. As we grow, we will add verified information about our team and credentials only once it is confirmed.

The homes we look after

is a city of many housing eras. Post-war bungalows in Applewood and Lakeview, split-levels in Erindale and Clarkson, 1980s and 1990s two-storey homes in Erin Mills and Meadowvale, newer builds in Churchill Meadows and a growing number of townhouses and condos around City Centre. Each era came with its own heating and gas equipment, and much of it has been upgraded piece by piece over the years.

That mix is exactly why a single, broad-skilled team is useful. We regularly see homes where a modern high-efficiency furnace shares a basement with an older tank water heater, a builder-installed gas fireplace from the 1990s sits in the family room and a newer gas line runs out to an outdoor kitchen. Understanding how all of these pieces fit together helps us give better, safer advice.

Our service philosophy in practice

Here is what a typical visit looks like. Say your gas fireplace clicks but never lights. Before we touch anything, we ask a few questions: when did it last work, has anything changed, does the pilot light at all. On arrival, we check the obvious first, such as batteries in the remote receiver and the gas supply valve. Then we test the ignition sequence, inspect the pilot assembly and measure the output of the thermopile where relevant.

Once we know the cause, we tell you what it is, what it will cost to fix and whether there is anything else worth knowing. Maybe the glass gasket is worn or the vent cap outside is partly blocked. You choose what to do. We do not add work you have not approved.

Maintenance that actually prevents problems

A good maintenance visit is not a quick look and a sticker. For a gas fireplace, it means cleaning the glass, burner and pilot, checking log or media placement against the manufacturer's diagram, testing safety controls and inspecting the vent. For a furnace, it means checking the flame sensor, igniter, filter, blower, venting and safety switches. For a tankless water heater, it means flushing scale from the heat exchanger and cleaning the inlet filter.

Regular maintenance helps appliances run efficiently, extends their life and catches worn parts before they leave you without heat or hot water on a cold January night. We keep maintenance pricing clear and explain what each visit includes.

Who we serve

Most of our customers are homeowners, from first-time buyers in a townhouse to families who have lived in the same Lorne Park house for decades. We also help landlords managing rental properties, property managers looking after multiple units and real estate buyers who want an inspection of a fireplace, chimney or gas line before closing.

For small commercial spaces with gas lines or heating equipment, send us a request describing the site and we will let you know if it is a good fit for our team.

Looking ahead

We are focused on doing excellent work in one city rather than spreading thin across the region. As EmberRise Pro grows, we will continue to add clear information to this site: more detailed service guides, real customer reviews collected with permission, and confirmed details about our team. Our aim is simple. When you need help with a gas appliance or home heating system, we want to be the obvious, trustworthy call.

How to get the most from working with us

The more we know before arriving, the faster we can help. When you send a request, include the type of appliance, the brand and model if you can find it, what is happening and when it started, and any error codes or blinking lights. A photo of the appliance and its rating plate is often the single most useful thing you can send. Let us know about parking, pets or building access too.

After a visit, keep the written estimate and work summary with your home records. They make future service faster and are helpful when selling your home, since buyers increasingly ask about the age and maintenance history of gas fireplaces, furnaces and water heaters.
